This kit has all the components required to use the light right Away.
Kit comprises:

Headband Light
Battery 12 volt 7 amp hour 
Charger auto cut off c/w LED charge indicator light 
Battery Bag c/w belt loop & adjustable shoulder strap 
Lead light to battery 

The enclosed 7 amp hour battery gives 3 hours of continuous light using the std 30 watt beam. 50watt beam gives 11/2 hours and the 100 watt 3/4 hour.
The charger is specific for the 7 amp hour battery. It has a low  amp draw (which is necessary for these batteries)
